**Position: Accountant (Fintech, Cards & Payments)**

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)**

**Job Description & Requirements**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join an award winning fintech organisation. Our businesses are going through a period of rapid growth and would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will play a key member in the accounting and finance function. You will collaborate and work closely with our operation and business team to act as the trusted business partner between finance and business.

**Job Scope**
- Perform day to day accounting and finance operations including AP AR GL, Bank reconciliation.
- Assist with the improvement of financial systems & management based on thebusiness models and business units.
- Support the establishment of financial policies and sops including but not limited to revenue recognition and AR accounting, cost accounting, cash management and month end closing, and implement accordingly on timely basis.
- Assist with the preparation of financial planning and analysis, streamlining the financial data based on business units, establishing the key metrics and definitions.
- Support to build up the financial platform for business units, prepare monthly quarterly and annual management reporting package including financial statements, key metrics and notes.
- Carry out research on intricate accounting matters and investigation on the business data, to find out the root cause and discover solutions to the management.
- Prepare quarterly GST submission and handle local tax matters, ensuring timely submission to local authorities
- Assist with corporate secretarial work and compliance requirements, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of surveys, reports and forms as required by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements To Succeed**
- Degree in Accounting or ACCA. Good knowledge of IFRS. CPA is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in relevant position in accounting/ finance.
- Preferred experience in Fintech, banking, crypto industry.
- Experience with SAP B1 is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and provide clarity and structure.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous.
- Demonstrated interest in Fintech & blockchain technology. Ability to start work immediately will be advantage.
