**Admin & Finance Executive (Corporate Services)**

**Reporting to - Manager (Corporate Services)**

**Overview of Responsibilities**

**Job Purpose**

The Admin & Finance Executive (Corporate Services) is responsible in handling all day-to-day financial matters of the chamber (SMCCI) and its subsidiary, SMCCI Enterprise Pte Ltd (SEPL), ensuring that proper accounting, reporting and governance is observed under standard Financial Reporting Standards. He/She is also required to provide administrative support to the Secretariat and the Board of Directors, where necessary.

**Primary Responsibilities**

**Finance**
- Handle full set of accounting transactions involving General Ledger/Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable of SMCCI and SMCCI Enterprise Pte. Ltd (SEPL)
- Handle invoicing matters
- Handle bank matters, eg. cash deposit and signatory updates
- Month end closing, reconciliation of accounts
- Periodic budget monitoring
- Prepare periodic GST returns for submission to IRAS
- Liaise with tax agent for corporate tax matters
- Conduct internal audit of financial processes where necessary, liaise with Internal Audit Commitee
- Liaise with external auditors for SMCCI and SEPL
- Assist senior management in preparation of annual budget and forecasting of cash flow and profit/loss statement
- Assist senior management in preparation of financial reports to Board of Directors

**Admin**
- Handle Job Ad postings, schedule meetings/interviews
- Assist with onboarding of new hires
- Responsible for statutory submission/claims (CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS pay, maternity and childcare claims)
- End-to-end payroll process for SMCCI and SEPL
- Update and maintain staff records and personal files
- Source for and recommend upgrading courses for the staff
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycle
- Gather documentation for terminations and resignations & ensure that all documentation is returned for timely processing.
- Schedule/conduct exit interviews; make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Responsible for maintenance of office facilities and stationery purchases
- Liaise with Corporate Secretary for filing of annual report, appointment of board directors, etc
- Undertake any other duties as directed by Reporting Officer

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accountancy from a recognised institution or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting function
- Experience in using accounting software, preferably Xero
- Strong technical IFRS, accounting knowledge as wells as analytical
- Self-driven, possess analytical thinking and have the ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work both independently and deadline oriented
