The regional Total Rewards Head - Asia Pacific will report to the Global Rewards Head and SHRO Asia Pacific.

Also critical for success in this role is to work closely with business leaders and have oversight over all compensation activities ensuring the team is aligned to support the goals across all businesses, continually focused on improving the business experience. This will require, amongst other things, driving continuous change and transformation (culture and technology), aligning with regional and global best practice and partnering with the business coaching senior business leaders on the value of effective compensation and retention strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement global compensation strategies and programs in the regional construct and that adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Serve as advisor to HRAs and business, providing input into strategic decisions impacting business / region supported.
- Provide regional input to all Global Policy development. Develop regional compensation and total rewards strategy and policies.
- Ensure compensation approaches meet regulatory requirements, strategy, and philosophy of the region.
- Develop strategy for identification, review and execution of compensation market research / market data for the region.
- Develop strategy to create infrastructure and workflow for compensation decision making for the regions.
- Partner with Finance on employee compensation expenses. Develop, recommend and monitor employee related components (salaries, incentives) of business budgets.
- Provide regional governance and oversight to global compensation policies and processes.
- Regional oversight of Job leveling (regional job framework / description maintenance, regional process coordination with HRA/HRG and business).
- Baseline - regional oversight and execution with HRAs/HRGs and business (overrides, calendar coordination, finance inquiries, plug calculation, communication, training and reporting.
- Provide input from the region on Market Pricing: Survey matching and results validation.
- Provide regional input for the global bonus pool process on commitment tracking. Track commitments for the region for regulatory reporting).
- Identification of regional Covered Employees (ie: material risk takers).
- Lead Global compensation and benefits projects to execute against Global and Regional priorities
- Lead the year end and mid-year comp process (audits, analytics, report generation, payroll coordination, manager / HR training and Regulatory requirements) for the region.
- Partner closely with HRSS colleagues with respect to employee payment experiences.
- Leads/manages Asia regional mobility function including regional and global mobility programs. Ensures compliance with mobility policies and practices.
- Coordinates Citi’s Wellness programs in region.

**Qualifications**
- 15+ years of experience, including 10+ years' managerial experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Proactive leadership and motivational skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Master’s degree preferred; managerial experience
