Temporary Senior Executive, Admissions, Projects and Electives

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010 by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in partnership with Imperial College London, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. The School’s primary clinical partner is the National Healthcare Group, a leader in public healthcare recognised for the quality of its medical expertise, facilities and teaching. The School is transitioning to an NTU medical school ahead of the 2028 successful conclusion of the NTU-Imperial partnership to set up a Joint Medical School. In August 2024, we welcomed our first intake of the NTU MBBS programme, that has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities.
Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) has a position for a Temporary Senior Executive to support the Admissions, Projects and Electives team.
Admissions:
- Work as a team to plan, organise and implement the Multiple Mini Interviews (Admissions interviews)- Assist in managing the offer and acceptance numbers to meet admissions target- Participate in LKCMedicine outreach events
Scholarly Projects (ScP):
- Oversee smooth execution of Year 4 Scholarly Projects, including new process improvements.- Source and manage a diverse range of projects from HCIs, faculty, and partners.- Administer the Anthony Teo-Gordon Johnson Scholarly Project with Cambridge University.- Maintain updated records of project supervisors and markers.- Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g. Scholarly project leads, EDOs, Medical Library, Comms, Curriculum, Clinical Affairs).- Ensure accurate and timely mark submissions per exam guidelines.- Serve as secretariat for Scholarly Project Committee meetings, including slide prep and minutes.- Handle student queries and support throughout the ScP period.- Support student research learning and organise the Scholarly Project showcase at Open House.
Electives- Manage the administration of the Incoming student elective programme and ensure timely submission of student documents- Oversee safe arrival, stay, and departure of overseas students during their elective period- Support positive elective experiences and address HCI concerns.- Maintain strong relations with MOU partners and ensure student welfare.
Policies, Systems and Procedures- Knowledgeable on NTU and LKCMedicine policies- Support the digitalisation of work processes
Administration- Assist in LKCMedicine events as rostered- Other department level administrative tasks
Requirements:
- A recognised degree in any discipline, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.-
- Experience with data management- Resilient, meticulous and analytical- Ability to multi-task and work independently under time pressure- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
This is a 6 months temporary contract.
