Your challenge summary
- You will be accountable for all S&S Public sales and marketing activities in APAC (Municipalities, Electrical Utilities, Sports, Transportation...)
- You will set the vision and adapt the global Public S&S strategy to APAC needs - prioritizing customer groups and accounts based on defined criteria
- You will develop and execute a rigorous sales management process - key account planning, sales forecasting, cadence with S&S Public KAM’s in countries, as well as with the Division Digital Solutions, both Segment Manager in BU S&S and the relevant CSM(s) in Regional BU
- You are responsible to build a high-performance commercial Public team across APAC - leading by example as well as coaching the KAM’s and the team to deliver results and build needed competencies
- You will drive the S&S Public team to sell more L3 architectures, while being nimble to pivot back to L1/L2 architectures based on customer needs, buying process and budgets
What you’ll do
- Build and execute a comprehensive plan to win S&S in target customers and full ecosystem (e.g., consultants, contractors ) in own segment: Municipalities, Utilities and other Public accounts
- Drive a strict operational cadence - forecast reviews, funnel mgmt., customer visits, sales productivity
- Drive digital and tools adoption - e.g. SFDC, KAPs
- Deliver on operational targets and initiatives defined by BMC agreement
- Provide feedback to Division on market dynamics, customer needs and competition insights to further improve our offers
- Deliver on financial targets: S&S, new growth platforms (ex: Solar), acquisitions (ex: LiteMagic, Telensa )
- Achieve revenue, margins and sales productivity efficiencies targets
- Manage controllable sellex in line with targets
- Drive for high levels of customer satisfaction during opportunity development
- Ensure a smooth handover to the Market for product opportunities
- Drive thought leadership on connected lighting/IoT and brand preference in relevant ecosystems
- Create a relentless drive for S&S growth
- Foster a Customer First and Radical Collaboration mindset and actions
- Hire, coach and motivate key talents and drive accountability to develop a High-Performance Team
- Drive sales & marketing team engagement, culture of accountability
- Build S&S competencies - Commercial excellence, Technical AND Digital
- Animate the exchanges within the Public Communities of Practice
- What you’ll need
- Experience and track-record in ESCO models, BOT/PFI/PPP and project-financing in Public sector
- Ability to work with diverse teams and multiple cultures across APAC
- Broad Systems & Services competencies - Commercial excellence, Technical and Digital
- A long track record in solution-selling to end-users and their ecosystems, with operational experience - forecast reviews, funnel mgmt., customer visits, sales productivity
- Experience building and executing a comprehensive plan to lead new growth platforms
- Familiarity with digital tools - e.g. SFDC, KAPs
- Experience with achieving revenue, margins and sales productivity efficiency targets
- Experience managing controllable sellex in line with targets and driving for high levels of customer satisfaction when developing opportunities
- Experience driving thought leadership on connected lighting/IoT and brand preference in relevant ecosystems
- Solid competences in stakeholder management, having impactful communication skills
- You’re an agile, customer focused strategic thinker and an efficient and decisive decision maker
