Head of Institutional Sales (Asia) - Singapore based

**In your role as Head of Institutional Sales (Asia), you will**:
- Reporting into the Regional Director for Sales, you will own the development and execution of the regional B2B Growth payments sales strategy for the Hong Kong and Singapore markets with primary responsibility for leading new client acquisition and growth
- You will be managing, recruiting, coaching, motivating and inspiring talented sales teams in Hong Kong and Singapore to ensure they achieve the results and overall business objectives
- As a member of the Senior Management team, you will be contributing to the strategic and operational goals of the business
- In collaboration with your team, you will identify, source and develop new business opportunities as you look to maximize profitability while maintaining a focus on the customer
- This is a key strategic role for us as we continue as a standalone company away from Western Union. You can play a large role in defining the future of Convera in the APAC market.
- Some international travel will be required for this role
**You will ideally have**:
- For such a strategic role, we require you to be commercially astute and have an eye for identifying new market opportunities
- You will have a proven record in Sales, ideally from business-to-business environment in Foreign Exchange/payments or the Financial Services industry, preferably from within a global organization. Other specific examples of relevant induistries are from within the Professional Services industry, or IT Software sales.
- You will be an inspirational and experienced leader of people, used to recruiting, training and driving your team to success.
- You’ll have strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to lead and build positive relationships to meet the strategic plan
- Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable
- You will be results driven, with a proven track record of success.
- You will be financially astute with knowledge of business needs and concerns as well as the commercial impact of global news and events. You will come with strong business-to-business and solutions sales experience.
- You will have excellent communication/presentation skills across all media, as well as the ability to use technology (e.g. MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, Reuters, reporting tools, and sales automation platforms such as Salesforce).
