Postion Summary:

- Establish, lead and manage the APAC Market Planning Hub’s Inventory and Innovation team driving excellence in execution and delivering ‘best in class supply chain planning support to the markets and APAC region
- Drive the implementation and development of the team to assume full accountability for the supply chain ‘Enabling Services’ and all aspects of ‘Supply and Inventory Planning’ (S&IP)

Position Responsibilities:

- Responsible to lead a dynamic team with diverse activities i.e Inventory WO management (global, regional, and by market), Regional Master Data Management, Net Requirement Validation, AMP SIT deployment, CIs, and Data Analytics to improve the overall performance of supply and delivery chain.
- Implement a process for proactive identity opportunities to mitigate and minimize overall supply & inventory costs (inventory holding, write-offs, lost sales) in the network
Regional SME for the following processes: Projected Write Off process, SCA process, Inventory Budgeting, Inventory LE process
- Drive governance, adoption, enhancement, and development of Digitized Inventory tools in Supply IQ and Tableau
- Reporting, analysis, and root cause analysis of Service Level (%In-Stock), Inventory value, Month on Hand, and other key KPIs
- Implement and embed a comprehensive analytics and management reporting suite within a robust calendared framework, both for routine (and ad - hoc reports) to support the daily/ weekly/ monthly processes at the Regional and Market level
- Provide value-added services to the markets and regional teams to support Sales and Operations Planning processes, Operational Review Meetings, and ad hoc specific requests
- A key enabler to the successful deployment and sustainability of IMEx at Market Planning Hubs
- Identify, prioritize, and drive improvement initiatives related to metrics and analytics, master data, and Product change management. Also, accountable to drive regional improvement initiatives and implement Global Initiatives.
- Responsible for managing the relationships with IO and driving improvements to logistic cost and effectiveness.
- Focus on partnering with the digital teams to design the right processes and tools

Organizational Relationships:
Market Planning Hub Lead, GSC LT, Market / Cluster Leaders, AMP Sub Team Lead, Regional Supply Chain Leads (as needed), Global AMP SMEs, and Other Regional Team Leads / Counterparts

Supervision:
4 - 5 Direct Report

**Education**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Management, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management
- Professional Supply Chain certifications preferred
- Language requirement: English is mandatory

**Experience**:
7+ years of relevant leadership experience required in Supply and logistics management systems, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry or other industries where it is required to align customer requirements with sales, marketing, and finance
- Proven ability to work in a complex international matrix organization and within a multicultural environment
- Strong team leadership experience is essential, the experience of Virtual working and Regional/ Above Market roles an advantage
- Highly developed ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and across geographies with strong oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulatory processes, artwork management, and product lifecycle changes
- Understanding of Sales/Commercial/Marketing functional areas
- Continuous improvement: Leadership of cost, operations, and business improvement projects for Logistics & Supply processes
- ERP/System implementations
- Exposure to business finance
- Strong analytical skills are required - the ability to observe patterns and trends in data science and analytics, determine the root cause of issues, and draw proper conclusions from the analysis
- Interest and drive to optimize supply chains and deliver solutions creating end-to-end benefits to the network
- Ability to think longer-term and challenge the status quo
- Ability to influence decisions across different levels of the organization including senior leadership
- Ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization, instilling trust and collaboration
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex situations involving many moving parts
- Expertise in Data Analytics and mining tools as well as Tableau and Microsoft Tools
- Ability to make good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment
- Ability to manage, track and drive resolution of complex issues as well as improvement initiatives in parallel
