**We have an exciting new opportunity here at Changi Airport, for a proactive and passionate people enthusiast to join our team. As a WHSmith People Manager, you will report directly into the General Manager, supporting the store teams on administration and human resources duties.**

**So, what’s it like?**

As an experienced People Manager, you will take pride in running an outstanding people operation and be an ambassador for WHSmith You will
- Deliver effective back off administration tasks, including stationary ordering and airport security pass procedures.
- Build strong relationships and be a trusted people advisor to your Area Manager, Store Manager and Store Teams to support capability & support creating a high performing team.
- Provide People/HR policy guidance, interpretation & coaching across Singapore in scope
- working with external lawyers when needed to provide effective employment advice & coaching to store teams.
- Monitor & respond to legislative changes across Singapore.
- Effectively manage internal payroll and training platforms to ensure full compliance.
- Drive forward our engagement strategy as well as DEI, wellbeing & talent development agendas
- Work closely with the International People Partner, acting as a robust link between the central people team and local people (HR) team.

**What experience do I need?**
- A strong understanding of Singapore HR processes and activities including employee relations, engagement & capability, organisational development, talent management and recruitment.
- Experience working in a complex, fast moving environment
- Excellent people skills demonstrating the right level of challenge and influence
- Able to manage ambiguity & adapt to changing priorities
- Good planning and organisation skills with experience of project management and an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent communication skills, at all levels of seniority
- Strong analytic skills with ability to pull and synthesize data into meaningful insight
