Manager, Regional Tender Management, Asia Pacific

**ROLE PURPOSE**
- Key support role for Commercial and Account Managers in Asia Pacific for winning tenders, contract renewals andunsolicited bid opportunities
- Create winning proposals within the customer deadline with teams involving different functional disciplines, regions/ countries and divisions
- Driver of Commercial Contracts drafting and signing according to agreed and implemented tenders.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Lead and manage tender processes to ensure on-time compelling and competitive business propositions.
- Support country tender teams by guiding on tender processes; supporting them in large/non-standard bid submission
- Developing logistics solutions meeting the customer requirements together with functional experts and other required stakeholders.
- Conduct 100% due diligence on all assigned bids in preparation for the weekly Tender Review Board process, customer submission and bid proposal
- Participates in Multinational, CSI, GFPS and Key customer meetings with Commercial and Account Managers in order to obtain a detailed understanding of customer requirements and/or to provide detailed information about the DHL solution.
- Customer Contracting Process Management.
- Develop and maintain data resources to support tender responses and commercial requirements(Country Capabilities, Business Units, Industry and Customer Knowledge Banks)
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Preferably a degree inBusiness, Finance orEconomics
- At least 6 years working in a Commercial or analytical role (Sales, pricing, operations performance etc) or a project based role.
- Knowledge of Logistics industry preferred
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) and ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple way. English written skill is essential to this role as it demands formal and accurate written bids’ responses
- Team player and results oriented; ability to manage to deadlines and under pressure
- Communicating clearly with the ability to advise and influence people without having direct reporting lines
