Separation & Purification Sciences Division (SPSD) serves diverse industries and Markets, such as Semiconductor process materials, Biopharmaceutical industries, by providing unique solutions that enable customers to improve their process efficiently and reduce their costs through our cutting-edge filtration. SPSD also serves the Commercial Food service market, including Quick-service restaurants, Hotels and Public facilities, utilizing a broad portfolio of Water Purifiers that even help to clarify tap water in residences through B-to-B-to-C business model as well.

The Role

This role will lead the strategic transformation of the Asia-based marketing organization for the Separation & Purification Sciences Division (SPSD) under the new operating model, and as the company prepares for spin-off.

Leads the marketing organization for SPSD across Asia. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development of the country marketing plans, as well as program activation to drive demand generation and growth acceleration.

Key stakeholders include Global Marketing team, Country Sales, Application Engineers, and Area/Global Portfolio and, HCBG Marketing Center.

This role reports to Area Division Leader for Asia, Separation & Purification Sciences Division, HCBG. Country marketing manager will report directly into this role.

Role Accountabilities

Deliver Growth
- Actively contribute to the achievement of sales and marketing plans for the market and deliver on the business objectives and financial goals.

Marketing Transformation
- Lead the transformation of Asia marketing organization under the new operating model, and through the company spin-off.
- Build and elevate team’s competencies to drive marketing-led growth.

Product Commercialization
- Work with key functional teams (Portfolio team, Application Engineers and Division leadership team) to optimize marketing activities.
- Drive new product launches by collaborating with key stakeholders to determine launch strategy, including market insights, go-to-market plan, pricing, awareness and demand generation.
- Voice of market, ideas, local needs for new products and participate on global NPI teams, as needed.

Marketing Planning and Program Activation
- Provide local market and competitive intelligence and input to the area and global teams for marketing planning and program development.
- Localize marketing plans and activate programs based on country needs and opportunities.
- Manage marketing budget ensuring effective program ROI.

Demand Generation
- Drive demand generation at the local layer. Define local integrated tactics, execute end-customer communication in alignment with campaign objectives and track outcomes.
- Enhance sales partnership and engagement. Deliver programs, sales aids and contents to field sales team, and work in close alignment with them to engage customers.
- Set up rigorous end-to-end process for lead routing and qualification, utilizing SMP framework and tools such as SFDC, Eloqua.
- Grow the customer database, manage customer profiles and segments for effective campaign targeting.

Product and Pricing Management
- Oversee the management of product life cycle (phase in/out), in-country product inventory and demand forecasting. Provide input into the IBP process.
- Be responsible for the division price and margin management, in accordance with the global pricing corridor guidance, price-value positioning and market conditions.

People Management
- Create conducive environment for remote team management, collaboration and support.
- Coach and develop the marketing talents. Upskill and reskill marketers by leveraging the corporate marketing learning resources.
- Support corporate change management initiatives.

Organization/Scope
- Manage a team of Asia Activation marketing consist of 5 countries and regions’ Activation marketing teams.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of sales & marketing experiences in Industrial segment including Biopharma, Microelectronics and Water purifier segment, and more than 5 years of management and leadership experience.
- Experienced in leading and managing a team, particularly in remote work settings.
- Strong commercial focus, able to adapt global strategies to local market needs, operationalize and drive results.
- Independent, resourceful, able to influence and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
