**Job Description**:
This Account Specialist position is for our Separation & Purification Sciences Division (SPSD). The incumbent is accountable for execution of the sales / account plan developed by the Division Sales Leader to meet set revenue and growth targets for SPSD.

The incumbent reports to the Division Sales Leader, Separation and Purification Solutions Division.

Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for Sales for SPSD Filters and Membranes in the Biopharmaceutical and API market, working very closely with the Technical team, Area Portfolio team and Global Key Account Managers to achieve the following:
- Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling of appointments, conduct technical sales presentations, understanding business needs, develop proposals and sales closure.- Build customer relationships with the Key Biopharmaceutical Customers and develop these relationships in multiple levels of the organization- Qualification of 3M filtration solutions in Process Development Labs-
- Organize and conduct filtration seminars for pharmaceutical customers- Work with distributors to achieve Sales Targets.

Required Experience/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Chemical Engineering- Minimum 5 years of relevant Sales experience. Experience in filtration sales is preferred- Holds a Class 3 driver’s license and possesses own car- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Able to work under time pressure, and to work independently
