Learning & Development (L&D) Lead plays an important role in building visible and measurable investments in the regional L&D (Singapore & Thailand) to meet the current demands of our regional business. At the same time, keeping consistency and alignment with overall Thoughtworks business needs.
**Job responsibilities**:
- You will build and manage a cross functional team for L&D
- You will ensure the understanding of the capability gaps and priorities
- You will build and maintain a diverse learning portfolio that supports prioritized capability development needs
- You will manage a training evaluation approach that allow us to ensure our training is effective and to recognize training ROI
- You will coordinate and execute all regional programs
- You will maintain alignment with Global L&D and work aligned with Thoughtworks business goals
- You will ensure regional function is following globally consistent processes and tools
- You will design new training programs and pilot for emerging capability needs
- You will coordinate and select participants for Global Trainings as needed
**Job qualifications**:
**Core competencies and skills**:
- Leadership: Provide leadership to the L&D team to ensure there are clear missions and objectives, and to provide direction and support to grow high performing teams.
- Collaboration: Drive a high level of collaboration within the Talent at Thoughtworks, with other stakeholders and leaders in the business, and with external partners and vendors.
- Strategy: Takes a big picture view of L&D ensuring it is aligned with the business priorities and making strategic decisions to maximize the impact of L&D at Thoughtworks.
- Portfolio Management: Plan multiple concurrent learning programs and making sure they are being well executed
- Analytics: Leverage data to help make informed decisions and to track ongoing activities allowing the team to stay adaptable to the business needs.
- Knowledge: Stay up to date on learning and industry trends to ensure our internal L&D continues to grow to be a differentiator.
- Navigating ambiguity : You are able to work with change, shift gears as needed and be comfortable making decisions when the entire picture is not always evident.
**Professional experiences**:
- Solid experience in the Talent Development space/L&D
- Significant knowledge about effective learning and development methods
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
- Experience working in tech industry
