Business Change Manager

Working with large Financial Institution (Investment Management), the Business Solutions Change / Project Manager will work with the Business Teams on multiple initiatives and workstreams, across the end-to-end business functions of the organisation to assess current state design, propose new designs, as well as communicate and help to implement new operating models and/or process enhancements across our value chain.
The successful individual must be capable of driving both complex business and technology initiatives and have a deep understanding of both the Operations and the technology that underpins required processes.
- Lead change activities and monitor change progress
- Evaluate the impact of planned organisational change. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
- Perform change management assessments and GAP analysis.
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts with other Change Leads for organizational wide initiative
- Provide reporting and other updates to management and project teams.
- Effective tracking of detailed tasks in the plan via established task reporting processes and input from task owners
- Effective issue and risk management
- Management of dependencies / constraints with other releases / initiatives
- Regular Project Status Reports to key stakeholders.
- Governance adherence highlighting issues, risks and status against key milestones.
- Lead Steering Committee meetings with key stakeholders.
- Provide regular written status updates to all stakeholders.
- Ensure all project documentation are signed-off by the business and respective stakeholders as well as institutionalized and are of auditable standards.
- Takes full responsibility for the completion of the initial definition of the project, including defining scope, expected timelines and identification of project sponsor.

- EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years + experience in the financial industry, within asset management or investment banking or private banking with understanding data management, trade flows and tools, etc
- Understanding of the asset management lifecycle, including trade flow and key front/middle/back-office concepts
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to discuss strategy at the C-level
- Involvement in large, multi-year change programmes
- Organisational awareness and strong emotional intelligence

- Possesses the critical regional specific knowledge to be able to manage and deliver successfully.
- Able to resolve issues in a manner that build trusts, delivers successful project outcomes and drives the organisation’s strategic agenda.
- High energy, drive with strong change management experience.
- Has over 10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst / Change Lead within either fund management or capital markets. This experience could have been gained as an employee of the financial institution or as a consultant working on assignment.
- Attention to detail, persistence to complete tasks and resolve issues & risks. Pro-active / takes initiative.
- Has experience of working across / covering multiple jurisdictions
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within cost against a recognized project management methodology.
Experience in Wealth or investment management domain is an advantage
