Tan Ser Seng Herbs (Turtle) Restaurant Pte Ltd is a heritage restaurant in Singapore known for our traditional Chinese herbal soups and nourishing cuisine. We are expanding and revamping our menu — and we’re looking for a passionate **Chef**to join our team and help shape the future of our food.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Lead the preparation and cooking of Chinese/Teochew dishes (especially soups and sides)
- Collaborate closely with the team on **R&D**of new dishes, including herbal broths, seasonal specials, and healthier alternatives
- Conduct test tastings and adjust recipes based on team feedback
- Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and consistent food qualityMentor junior kitchen staff and support day-to-day operations

**We’re Looking For**:

- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in Chinese cuisine
- Strong understanding of herbs, broths, and traditional Chinese cooking methods
- Passionate about food innovation and customer experience
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchenCreative, disciplined, and detail-oriented

**Bonus**:

- Experience with menu development or nutritional-focused dishesFamiliar with food cost control and kitchen workflow optimization
