In this role, you will drive the SME Skills Accelerator and PruSkills initiatives. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to the Head of Enterprise Business Segment and work closely with the Enterprise Business Solutions & Innovation teams to contribute effectively to PACS and Skills Future SG.
The Skills Manager drives the development and implementation of skills and training solutions and interventions to achieve business growth and transformation for the network of SMEs within the SFQB’s value-chain.
He/she:
- Leads research on industry landscape and market trends, including liaising with various stakeholder within the SFQB network to understand critical skills requirements, project future skills demand and business objectives;
- Diagnoses the skills gaps and needs and identify measurements of success of the network;
- Formulates a training needs analysis plan by identifying skills and training opportunities, reviewing existing skills and training solutions and interventions, sourcing for new and/or developing bespoke skills and training solutions and interventions to address the SMEs’ needs;
- Leverages Skills Frameworks and relevant SkillsFuture resources in creating the skills and training solutions and interventions to achieve a holistic plan for the SMEs;
- Develops an implementation plan and organises the participation of SMEs in the network;
- Manages and fosters relationships with multiple stakeholders in the network, including institutes of higher learning and technology partners to ensure effective and sustainable implementation;
- Evaluates the impact and effectiveness of the skills and training solutions and interventions and fine-tunes the long-term implementation plan.
He/she is forward-thinking, creative, analytical and adept at forming connections between business needs and learning solutions and interventions. He/she enjoys solving problems and has excellent critical thinking skills. He/she is highly adaptable to different environments and has excellent interpersonal, change management and communication skills. He/she has strong business acumen and is results oriented. He/she is highly skilled at engaging, building relationships and promoting a collaborative and co-operative environment with multiple stakeholders within the network.
Working Experience
- At least 7-10 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Preferably Managers with relevant experience
