Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role: The Business Development Manager will play an important role in helping Business Development Reps (BDR) drive top of funnel interest, connecting merchants and sellers by setting meetings for the GROWTH Markets Sales team in the APAC Region. Meet our team: - You impact PayPal revenue by contributing top of funnel interest at scale, generating early stage opportunity and pipeline for our sellers. - You are comfortable creating structure and driving behaviors to meet the regions strategic objectives. - You enjoy working in a collaborative environment across teams to empower the BDR’s to engage and educate merchants.

**Job Description**:
**Your way to impact***

This role’s core responsibility is to develop, coach, and inspire a team of BDRs in HK, SG, and Japan to identify merchants in the GROWTH Markets. The BDR Manager will achieve this by leading a best-in-class sales team to effectively promote PayPal’s unique value proposition and act as a customer champion.

**_ In your day-to-day role you will _**
- Deliver and exceed targets/other KPIs.
- Create and maintain a strong sales culture focused on performance and positive merchant experience.
- Conduct 1-1 coaching to continuously improve sales capability and develop growth mindset in the sales team.
- Drive sales discipline including performance & pipeline reporting through team meetings, 1-1s, and performance management process.
- Attract and retain talent by focusing on personal career development.
- Develop and execute against the EPAC Growth sales strategy by working closely with other business leaders.
- Work with other internal teams such as Sales Leaders, Marketing, Account Management, Enablement, and Operations, to optimize sales process efficiencies.
- Work closely with regional and global teams to share and implement best practices.

**What do you need to bring**
- Proven successful business development sales experience with min. 2 years sales team management and leadership experience
- Experience working with Account Based Marketing
- Proven track record in building successful sales teams, ability to coach and inspire others.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, eCommerce and payment industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English AND local languages (critical requirements in communicating with a Global Leadership organization & managing day to day of local BDRs)
