**CONSULTING BUSINESS - MMB**
The Mercer Singapore Health Consulting team empowers clients to make data-driven decisions regarding their employee health & benefits programs. We work closely with colleagues in the client relationship management, operations, and technology teams to deliver complex projects that help our clients enhance employee engagement, improve employee health awareness and outcomes, and achieve cost sustainability, among other objectives.
**We will count on you to**:
- Liaise with clients to collect data according to project requirements;
- Conduct benefits benchmarking, detailed claims analysis, feasibility assessment of proposed benefits plan design changes, cost-benefit analysis and optimization, and more;
- Constantly learn the employee benefits industry, including key industry players such as insurers, brokers, technology providers, third-party administrators, and wellness vendors;
- Become familiar with the products and tools developed by the Mercer Health business and use them effectively to complete project tasks where required;
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from Marsh McLennan businesses and other teams within Mercer to develop intellectual capital to be delivered in webinars, forums, written points-of-view, and larger products and publications.
**What you need to have**:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. No experience is required.
- Keen interest in field of employee benefits, risk management, or broader HR functions;
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and to work on a team;
- Demonstrable ability or interest in data cleaning, analysis, and recordkeeping;
- A genuine interest in telling stories with data;
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis methods and tools, including but not limited to Power Query, Microsoft Excel VBA, R, and Python.
