The team supports the operations of the University of Campus Infrastructure, Campus Asset Management division, in three core areas - Design Management, Planning and Code Compliance. This position is to assist the team primarily in the planning function. The planning function takes on a campus-wide perspective which defines the scope and implementation details that meet faculty requirements and University's objectives and vision.Job Description

Assist in the development and refinement of the University’s mechanical and electrical infrastructure implementation planning through reviewing, refining, developing design specifications, guidelines and requirements.Carry out or assist in feasibility study's intended to realize the development potential of land parcels within NUS campusesReview and advise on waivers applied on behalf of the University Review project proposals and submissions to advise on the scope of works and impact.Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by respective professional body. Registered engineer with the respective professional body or able to be registered At least 3 years’ experience working in a consultancy firm doing A&A works to existing buildings or brown field sites Has knowledge in building regulations, international standards, fire safety codes and other technical departments related to building works Able to develop feasibility studies, M&E design and cost estimates for the purpose of budgetary costing.
