**Responsibilities**
**Strategy and Execution for Growth and Expansion**
- Lead, develop and execute Consumer Banking growth strategies aligned with the Bank’s overall goals and direction.
- Identify new growth opportunities, including market expansion and innovative digital solutions.
- Design and drive key initiatives to increase customer acquisition across all Consumer Banking products and services.
- Lead and conduct market research, competitor analysis, and leverage on customer insights to identify trends and opportunities in Singapore and the region.
- Assess business performance and recommend adjustments to drive profitability and market share.
- Lead and provide insights to senior leadership team on market dynamics and competitive landscape, together with practical proposals/recommendations.
- Lead data-driven sales strategies to drive business growth, focusing on lead generation and customer retention.
- Develop region-specific sales and growth strategies to drive lead generation and revenue growth.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as and when required.
- Develop and manage budgets for growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to align global strategies with local execution.
- Determine and set sales targets and performance metrics, ensuring accountability for revenue goals.
- Collaborate with product teams to design, innovate, launch, and optimize banking products.
- Develop end-to-end process from project initialization to IT solutioning, e.g., obtaining costs, preparing of business case papers, budget approval, UAT testing, and projects delivery.
**Cross-Border Banking and Regional Expansion**
- Lead, develop and execute cross-border banking strategies for ASEAN and Greater China.
- Lead, review, enhance and monitor CIMB’s expatriate and foreign professionals banking segment.
- Assess and identify viable opportunities for international market expansion.
- Identify, establish and drive strategic alliances and partnerships to accelerate acquisitions.
- Champion and collaborate with product teams to design and/or enhance products for cross-border customers.
- Own and drive financial performance for cross-border growth initiatives.
- Manage and monitor budgets for cross-border business projects and initiatives.
- Report on business growth progress and sales performance to the senior management team.
- Ensure compliance with local and regional regulations, as well as international business standards.
- Work with risk and legal teams to manage risks associated with market entry and partnerships.
**Platform Efficiency**
- Lead Consumer Banking teams in Singapore for Consumer Banking related projects (locally/regionally).
- Provide oversight and execute opportunities to enhance our existing retail platforms/systems.
- Drive and support various units within Consumer Banking in process improvement initiatives covering both existing and new products and services.
- Plan, manage and monitor CAPEX budget for Consumer Banking.
- Streamline processes (where applicable) adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Provide oversight and monitor any outsourcing functions for Consumer Banking Singapore.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or any related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in cross-border banking, business development, and/or financial innovation.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in driving productivity, platform efficiency/optimisation.
- Deep knowledge and exposure of ASEAN and Greater China markets, regulations, and digital banking trends.
- Proven track record in regional banking expansion, product innovation, and business growth.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working with regulators, internal teams, and external partners.
- Proven track record in project management and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in retail financial products, risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and operational processes within Consumer Banking.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on problem-solving.
- Experienced in using data analytics to drive insights-based decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively and a team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to challenge the status quo and provide practical recommendation to enhance or improve products/services for customers across the region.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including regulators and external partners).
- Proficient in Singapore’s law and regulations; and understanding of the region requirements pertaining to their regulations.
