Job description:
We are seeking a Head of Culture and Engagement for APAC to lead and execute on our strategies and programs in the areas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Internal Communications as well as serve as a Project Manager over key People projects that impact the employee experience. This role requires someone with a passion and a desire to make impact in our employee experience and culture, with a strong ability to collaborate across diverse markets in APAC and operationalise and scale programs.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO)for GroupM APAC, the Head of Culture and Engagement is a collaborative leader who has experience managing large scale and concurrent projects across multiple teams and stakeholders, with a bias for action and results. This person needs to have a flair for how we communicate with leaders and employees, is data
- and detail-oriented; has excellent problem-solving abilities that transcend across a matrixed environment. This person will propose and implement creative solutions and collaborate across the company to drive change and project completion.
Responsibilities Include:
- Organize, promote, and moderate APAC-wide DEI events and programming that educates and fosters a sense of community and belonging
- Design and lead programming and activations (including creating tools, guidelines, solutions and programs) over the 4 core DEI employee moments in the calendar year to increase awareness of DEI programs and activities, and foster commitment and employee engagement
- Support our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) including budget management, coordination across ERGs and external partners,
- Collaborate with global and regional counterparts on DEI programs, internal communications as well as core People Experience projects across the people team, alongside partnerships with other Business units/ functional areas
- Leverage data to measure the impact of DEI programs and communicate to internal stakeholders and emplo9yees on progress and impact
- Partner with our Marketing and Communications functions to amplify our employee value proposition and broader internal communications to nurture a diverse, welcoming and connected and engaging environment for our employees
- Support as a Project Manager to the GroupM APAC CPO over APAC-wide core projects and campaigns that impact the Employee Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in the areas of DEI, Internal Communications and Project Management
- 5-8 years of experience leading large-scale projects; successful teaming with colleagues, and outcome-based results orientation approach
- Passion for DEI and experience developing initiatives to create a more inclusive culture
- Flair for communication and a strong ability to influence and rally others
- Ability to motivate and influence leadership, partners and peer groups
- Ability to articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and key stakeholders including senior management
