**ROLE OVERVIEW**

In this role you are responsible for GroupM Nexus APAC’s engagement with key regional clients of GroupM and its agencies and will act as the primary agency-facing contact for GroupM Nexus APAC and global teams, if necessary. Your primary focus will be on understanding key client’s business objectives, developing effective strategies, and fostering long-term partnerships. You will be involved in managing client pitches, agency enablement, market, and practice support, as well as to evangelize Nexus practices and offerings.

You will represent and promote GroupM Nexus capabilities (solutions, technology, and practices) within the agencies and to clients. Success of this role will be measured primarily by new businesses won and growth, development of key client relationships, as well as team management.

You will directly manage a team to drive business growth, while working closely with the Head of Biddable and Non-Biddable practices, to orchestrate concerted effort for growth. You are expected to work closely with regional agency client teams and GroupM Nexus colleagues to deliver consultative solutions that meet the needs of clients, win new businesses, and grow revenue for the group.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the Head of Client Growth, Nexus APAC, focused on key regional clients you will:
**Growth**
- Have overall responsibility for growing total agency use of GroupM Nexus, proprietary media, practices and solutions
- Work as a core part of the agency team on agency new business pitches and transformation projects
- Contribute to the agency plans on new client acquisition and growth opportunities
- Work with markets and agencies to produce case studies to demonstrate GroupM Nexus’ strategic value

**Client Relationship Management**
- Understand key clients’ business goals & challenges, mapping out key stakeholders and use consultative sales approach to uncover information to enable the optimal GroupM Nexus proposal and adoption of GroupM Nexus’ capabilities o Build and deliver joint business plans with the agencies on regional key client KPIs
- Responsible for consistent tracking and uplift of Client/Agency delight via appropriate measurement tools and surveys

**Solution Architect**
- Devise the right client proposition by consulting with experts from GroupM
- Nexus Practice & Solution Leads o Contribute to GroupM Nexus product development efforts through bringing vertical market insights, real world client needs and test clients for pilots
- Work closely with GroupM Nexus product and marketing stakeholders to define GroupM Nexus storytelling approach

**Commercial Management**
- Co-create compelling client proposals and be ready to present/storytell to senior stakeholders
- Work with account and practice leads to devise ongoing value measurements and input progress and value created into agency/client QBR meetings

**Team Management**

Lead a team of client growth colleagues providing guidance, mentorship, fostering a collaborative work environment, managing performance and ensuring team’s overall success

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- 15+ years working experience in Digital Marketing, senior client leadership, performance media strategy, and/or strategic business development role at a regional / multi-market level
- A cross-channel digital marketing expert, recognized as a compelling storyteller, a proficient pitcher and a project leader
- Proven record of strategic planning, business development, winning new business, management decision-making
- Thorough understanding of consultative sales and senior stakeholder management
- Possess strong marketing theories and understanding of agency planning methodologies
- Able to work collaboratively in a highly matrix environment, navigating complexities to drive results by building relationships with key stakeholders and teams in GroupM and WPP
- Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of the practices and solutions, both on the demand and supply side
- Experience in delivering cross-functional initiatives and demonstrated ability to maintain team focus to effectively overcome roadblocks and manage conflicts
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team management/building
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
