**Overview of Role**
In this role you will build GroupM’s performance media capability and operational excellence across the APAC region across all biddable platforms (Programmatic, Integrated Search, Paid Social, Commerce and Ad Serving practices, as well as any data, analytics and technology which enables performance media)
As APAC Head of Biddable for GroupM Nexus, you will work with local market Heads of Biddable to set up optimum structure and resourcing to deliver clients’ performance media KPIs. You will develop annual Biddable SMART goals for activation teams in the local markets, covering the areas of Practice Excellence, Productivity, Innovation and Capability. You will guide the markets to leverage global and regional Automation tools and Knowledge resources to achieve these goals

**Responsibilities**:
The GroupM Nexus APAC team adopts a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering highly valued and innovative solutions for our Agencies and clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
The following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Nexus APAC Activation team:
**GroupM Nexus Activation Responsibilities**:
- Complete the rollout of transformation across APAC, reviewing and refining the org structure and processes of markets, through regular analysis & review of Client health, Practice excellence and Operational Performance metrics
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to onboard workflow automation and a new campaign stewardship system with mínimal disruption or downtime.
- Collaborate with Agency stakeholders to understand client needs and anticipate areas for improvement
- Support Agency account teams in pitches and strategic client conversations revolving around Performance media and Data-driven Insights & Targeting, including the use of client 1st party data
- Collaborate with key global Biddable media platforms to drive value for GroupM clients
**Individual Responsibilities**:
- Work with local market Head of GroupM Nexus to provide leadership and guidance to the local market GroupM Nexus Biddable lead, including setting and evaluating annual SMART goals
- Monthly review of client health and practice excellence, quarterly review of operational metrics, half-yearly review of internal client satisfaction (via internal survey)
- Engage formally and informally with regional Agency management and account teams, to ensure Agencies are able to leverage the Activation capabilities of GroupM Nexus to address client needs, and to seek feedback that allows GroupM Nexus to develop new capabilities ahead of evolving market conditions
- Work with APAC Talent team to establish a culture of excellence, and support local GroupM Nexus operations in managing recruitment, training, certification and career development of Biddable specialists
- Provide regular updates to global stakeholders and participate in global workstreams as required
**What you will need**:
- 12+ years working experience in Digital Marketing or relevant industry
- 5+ years in managing a Biddable team, or 8+ years in managing a generalist team/P&L
- Highly knowledgeable in performance media (buy or sell side) with operational process experience
- Comfortable with handling (up to) C-level clients and agency management
- Assertive yet diplomatic - prepared to fight for the right cause and have difficult conversations
- Inspiring communicator with clear written and verbal communication
- Focused, but able to maintain perspective
- Energetic, charismatic, curious and resilient
- Proven capability in working in different market cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver ‘service excellence’ to customers
- Experience in operating in a matrix structure, where stakeholders need to be engaged and managed. Capable of influencing through persuasion and without direct authority
- Has experience in strategic change within a large organization, and assisting teams going through a change/transformation program
- Has successfully motivated and led cross functional teams
