**Your day to day**
The **Director, HR Operations** will serve as Human Resources business partner for all Operating Hotels and New Hotels in **Singapore, Malaysia & the Philippines**, defining each Country people and talent strategy, supporting the delivery of Human Resources priorities, plans and systems to support the successful performance of IHG hotels across each country portfolio.

This role reports to the Director, Human Resources - SEAK, both roles are based in Singapore.

1. Responsible for defining, planning and executing the people & talent strategy for IHG hotels in Singapore, Malaysia & the Philippines. Support selection of Hotel General Managers and other key positions within these markets.

2. Relentlessly drive the hotel operations talent agenda including effective performance review, talent management, succession and development planning for top talent.

3. Provides true partnership to Hotel Operations colleagues, General Managers and Hotel HR Leaders by coaching for performance, influencing the best outcomes and challenging stakeholders.

4. Defines clear talent attraction strategies at the hotel and country level, including (where appropriate) engagement with Local, State and Government agencies and unions whilst leveraging legacy and social media for specific marketing and attraction campaigns.

5. Proactively leads strategies to maximise operational effectiveness within Hotel's including (where appropriate) organisational design, capability building with the aim to constantly improve workforce optimisation.

6. Collaborates with SEAK hotel pre-opening team to ensure full support for openings, conversions, talent planning where required

**What we need from you**
Ideally, you’ll have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources

You’ll have well developed leadership skills, ability to impact and influence stakeholders locally and globally and demonstrated experience working as part of a complex matrix structure as part of a global organisation

A demonstrated ability and passion with agility to learn and implement change with speed

Demonstrated experience in leading operational efficiencies and organisational design

Strong understanding of Employee Relations and local market HR practices & policies. Experience in innovation and change within traditional practises

Excellent business and credible financial acumen

Ability to work effectively with employees across diverse cultures
