**Job Summary**

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing and driving full spectrum of Human Resources and Learning & Development activities. He/she will business partner the Executive Committee to make key strategic and operational recommendations on Retention, Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, Succession Planning and Organisation Design and Development for high-performance and high-potential colleagues in a competitive labour market landscape.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain a highly engaging and motivating culture for all colleagues, and cultivate a positive work environment with teamwork, open communication, and aligned business vision and mission
- Develop and execute annual HR and L&D budget
- Manage annual performance review exercise and provide support to Executive Committee in establishing KPIs and evaluating performance
- Review and recommend updates, where required, to HR policies in accordance with local labour regulations
- Coach and develop the HR team to required competency levels and support them in realising their full potential

**Key Requirements**
- Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience, with at least two (2) years in a similar capacity in an international luxury hotel chain
- Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline
- Excellent knowledge of local labour laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Experienced in handling industrial relations matters
- Experienced in conceptualization, planning, organisation, and execution of HR strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues across all job levels and demographics
- Team player, with a demonstrated ability to work in teams across all cultures
- Professional maturity with demonstrated leadership abilities
- Initiative-taker, with the ability to proactively problem-solve, identify, advocate for, and execute improvements
- Positive attitude and passion for people and hospitality industry
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
