**General Description of the Role**
The Business Development Manager (BDM) supports the drink strategy on key brands and leads the on
- and offline training of both external and internal stake holders, for all Laiba brands, in assigned area according to our Strategic Business Plan objectives.
The BDM is as well directly responsible for the development and activation of the LAIBA portfolio building the brand awareness together with the Global Head of Sales and the local 3rd Party commercial team. This includes executing on the regional strategy, identify outlets and private consumers and approach them and execute strategic brand objectives as well as commercial objectives.
**Mission/Objectives**
The BDM will build the profile of LAIBA RTS through engaged customer list, develop skills and enthusiasm with our Whole Sellers and their sales and marketing teams and facilitate trade and consumer trial of LAIBA products through our key On Premise Accounts.
**Key Responsibilities and Activities**
- Working closely with the Head of Sale, support on premise and industry focused activation sessions and events
- Support trade media, shows strategy and development
- Support the development of face to face training module development
**Key Relationships**
**_Internal: _**Reports to, LAIBA BEVERAGES with a dotted line to the 3rd party sales director.
The BDM will also work very closely with LAIBA’s Marketing dept. in developing key customer activations and campaigns.
**_External: _**Commercial and marketing teams of LAIBA local distribution partners, Key On Premise Customers, Hotel/Restaurant Managers and Bartenders.
**Experience Required**
- Significant Liquor Industry experience essential, with strong On Premise focus 3 years +
- Coaching capability
- Strong relationships in On Premise across the local markets
- Sales experience highly regarded
