The Manager, Campus Connection, plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus environment at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). This individual will be part of the team spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing student connections on campus, providing dynamic platforms to elevate student narratives, and promoting intercultural engagements within the SIT community.

This role is vital in building a cohesive campus for students at SIT. To achieve this, the manager will be responsible for designing, managing and executing a variety of student programmes and engagements. The job scope will include guiding and mentoring junior staff and student leaders, with a key focus on enabling students to forge strong social support.

The position contributes to safeguarding a vibrant, safe and inclusive student life and university campus, to enrich and empower students, develop their life skills and create opportunities for growth.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Student Communication**
- Develop and implement strategies for gathering student feedback through various channels such as surveys, focus groups, and town hall meetings.
- Design and coordinate dialogues and discussion panels to encourage constructive conversations topics relevant to the student community.
- Coordinate student representation in decision-making processes at institutional levels.
- Monitor and analyse student experience surveys to identify trends, concerns, and areas for improvement.
- **Student Connection**
- Oversee the production and publication of the annual Graduation Yearbook, showcasing the diverse experiences and achievements of graduating students.
- Manage the Office of SITizen Experience's marketing platforms, including social media platforms, to foster a sense of belonging and community among students.
- Develop creative and engaging content to promote campus events, student achievements, and campus life, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- **Student Integration**
- Design and execute intercultural engagement programs in collaboration with student organisations, academic departments, and external partners.
- Organise cultural events, workshops, and seminars to promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation among students from diverse backgrounds.
- Design and implement analysis tool to track and monitor the effectiveness of intercultural engagement initiatives and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Mentor students in collaborative projects, developing their potential and creating opportunities to encourage personal development, and guide them in building meaningful relationships amongst peers and multiple partners within SIT and the community.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and review of the division’s work plans, resource allocation and team development.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by Director of Office of SITizen Exerience.

**Job Requirements**
- Degree from a good University with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in student affairs, campus engagement, or related areas, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing student engagement programmes and initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse student populations.
- Meticulous and organised, with a keen attention to detail.
- Agile, able to multitask and work independently within a tight timeline.
- Empathetic, willing-to-learn attitude with the ability to think “out of the box”.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation tools.
- Familiarity with survey design and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve division and university goals.
- Ability and willingness to work outside of office hours and on an ad-hoc basis.
