**What the role is**
**What you will be working on**
- Assists the Deputy Director of Community Mediation Unit (CMU) in the following areas:
- The implementation of policies relating to CMC mediators and any other project that is relating to the Community Mediation Unit (CMU).
- Manage the recruitment, training, and apprenticeship process for new volunteer mediators.
- Manage the performance of volunteer mediators to ensure that they meet their required caseload and training hours for re-appointment.
- Review public and mediator feedback to improve the delivery of mediation service and mediator conduct.
- Undertake an investigation into complaints regarding mediator on their performance and submit a report on the findings.
- Review the information gaps and service shortfall to curate training roadmap for mediators.
- Liaise with relevant training providers and stakeholders to organise internal and/or external training programmes for volunteer mediators.
- Able to perform basic data generation tasks required for reports or presentations.
- Able to create presentation materials required for meetings or briefings.
- Assists in the management of CMC's events including the annual mediator appreciation event(s) and other public outreach programmes as and when required.

- Fluent in English, a vernacular and/or dialect.
- Expected to exercise initiative, adapt quickly to situations and possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to manage people with various expectations.
- Able to write well and be proficient in the current IT tools and platforms including Zoom.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team, have a keen eye for attention to details, reliable and be able to remain level-headed during peak periods to ensure work is completed timely and expediently.
*Work Experience*
- Experience in human resource and/or mediation related work will be key assets for this position.
