Events Management Executive

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide overall event planning, management and execution for external facing events, e.g. fundraising events, donor/volunteer appreciation events, Share a Pot, etc.
- Manage third-party vendors, sponsors, exhibitors, venues, volunteers and participants
- Supervise event onsite manpower, e.g., events crew, ushers, stagehands etc
- Manage event registration process and crew to create a streamlined experience for participants
- Provide speakers liaison and management
- Responsible for the successful delivery of the event, ensuring smooth communication with partners, vendors and stakeholders
- Manage approved event budgets
- Ensure timeline management and updates
- Liaise closely with Comms/Fundraising/Volunteer Management colleagues to ensure the department’s strategic objectives are met
- Any other duties to support the Community Engagement and Development department

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree
- Min 2 years of related events experience
- Familiar with various software solutions, eg online registration systems such as Eventbrite or Gevme
- Well versed in Excel and PowerPoint to put forth proposals and manage budgets
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Able to work in a team and independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues, donors and volunteers, able to deal with pressure from multiple stakeholders
- Good time management to prioritise different tasks at once
