Chab Events is a turnkey corporate digital & live event management, experiential marketing, augmented/mixed reality and incentive travel agency. We work across a large range of industries including tech, healthcare & medtech, insurance, finance, luxury, fashion, aerospace, hospitality, food and beverage. Our reactive and passionate team produces inspiring events & experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and organise events up to 2000+ attendees, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of the B2B event management industry to deliver client-focused experiences.
  • Maintain a confident, positive, and professional demeanor in client and supplier interactions.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently and prioritise based on requirements.
  • Interpret client objectives to develop integrated event strategies, using strong listening and questioning skills.
  • Co-manage client and colleague expectations and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Lead on-site management for events (and virtual events), troubleshooting and providing solutions to internal teams, external suppliers, and clients.
  • Demonstrate immaculate attention to detail and strong writing skills; comfortable with proofreading and basic copywriting.
  • Be a team player who can also work independently and proactively.
  • Proven ability with spreadsheets and creating proposals/presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic, multicultural startup environment.
Account management responsibilities
  • Support your manager in leading clients' marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Provide the utmost level of client service as part of a team; liaise with clients at senior levels.
  • Promote expansion of business with existing clients.
  • Serve as the secondary point of contact for customers in your portfolio.
  • Understand customer requirements and offer suitable solutions to generate new business.
  • Complete projects to schedule and within agreed budgets; negotiate contracts to maximise profits.
  • Use your skills to push clients and the agency creatively and strategically.
  • Plan budgets and activities for account management; ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer trust.
Leadership and management
  • Be accountable for ensuring that your Manager is regularly updated on event progress.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to production staff to meet quotas/objectives.
  • Collaborate with Management to adapt strategy and continuously improve SOPs where necessary.
  • Drive team synergy and a positive team spirit; ensure the team feels supported.
  • Delegate responsibilities to maximize learning and skill development across projects.
  • Manage internal resources to balance workload and address conflicts constructively.
