Roles & Responsibilities

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Primarily Remote) This role operates on a flexible hybrid model. While most work can be performed remotely, team members are required to be available for on-site activities, including client meetings, site visits, and live event days.

Job Summary: The Event Manager is the strategic and client-facing lead for our corporate events, responsible for the entire project from conception to final delivery. This role owns the client relationship, drives the creative vision, and leads the events team to ensure each event is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, understanding their objectives, and ensuring their vision is realized.
  • Event Conceptualization & Strategy: Lead the creative process, developing innovative event concepts and strategies that meet client goals.
  • Full-Cycle Project Management: Oversee the entire event project plan, timeline, and milestones, ensuring the team is aligned and on track for successful execution.
  • Financial Oversight & Administration: Hold ultimate accountability for the event P&L, manage the contingency budget, and oversee the entire invoicing lifecycle in coordination with the accounts department.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Directly manage, guide, and mentor the Senior Events Executive, Events Executive, and Intern. Delegate tasks effectively and approve key documents like proposals and quotations.
  • Post-Event Analysis & Archiving: Lead the client debrief process, present post-event reports, and take responsibility for the systematic archiving of all project documentation for future reference and knowledge management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A Degree in any discipline; specialization in Events, Hospitality, Marketing or Business is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in event management, with a proven track record of managing corporate clients and leading successful events.
  • Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with direct experience managing and mentoring staff.
  • Strategic thinker with outstanding project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage modern tools, including Google Workspace, generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini), and design platforms (e.g., Canva), to drive team efficiency and enhance creative outputs.
  • High-level financial acumen with experience managing complex event budgets and P&L.
