Job Responsibilities:
The Sales Analyst will work closely with the Category Management Team to support data analytics and report preparation. This position requires strong analytical skills to make sense of complex data sets, to derive insights that will help Category Managers make decisions to improve business results. Good report writing, data visualizing & organizing skills will be advantageous for the role.
- Preparing of periodic reports, stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Weekly sales reports
- Monthly, weekly sales forecasts
- Competitor activities/ competitive price tracking
- Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
- Recommending KPIs to track business performance and compare them over periods of time

Pre-Requisites:

- Bachelor degree and/or 1-2 years of experience in sales, analytics, marketing or related fields preferred
- Solid understanding of basic sales methods/technique
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Ability to make decisions and work with little supervision
- Proficient with basic computer hardware and software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good oral and written skills
- Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
- Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
