
Business Development Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company’s real estate portfolio
- Lead the formulation and execution of asset management plans for the portfolio assigned
- Oversee the financial performance of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, property owners, tenants and service providers
- Manage, lead and mentor a team of property and support staff
- Ensure that new contracts are secured and that revenue targets are met
- Early engagement with target market to understand the needs for better preparation for tender launch
- Conduct risk assessments on projects and propose plans on mitigation
- Be on the lookout for new business opportunities and be updated on IFM and market trends
- Assist in certification renewals as needed by relevant associations.
- Guide team members / BDE to increase work output and ensure quality of work meets expectations
- Report project status and deliverables to the management team and ensure that company objectives are met
- Engage with and manage clients regularly to meet business objectives
- Assist in the compilation and interpretation of sales and other management reports
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Buildings / Building Estate Management / Business / Management / Facility Management or other relevant degree
- At least 4 years’ relevant working experience in business development (FM )
- Tender / bid management knowledge and experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Building Maintenance & Strata Management (BMSM) Act
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficient skills in Information Communication Technology and MS office especially Excel.
- Previous experience working with contract regulations with the related laws will be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
