**JOB OUTLINE**

**Your duties essential for the job**:

- Support decision making of the Finance Director and lead the Finance Division (Treasury & Accounting) by providing directions and necessary support to the entire team.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders in South Asia and Oceania regions by coordinating global projects sponsored by the HQ.
- Manage financial forecasting and budget processes, and overseeing preparation of all financial reporting.
- Provide advice on financial planning and commercial insights to group companies in the regions to attain their business plan targets.
- Ensure that risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for day-to-day finance and accounting activities in the group.
- Establish and develop relations with stakeholders, senior management of group companies and external partners such as finance institutions.
- Collect finance and accounting information in the region from time to time, and share it with group companies and HQ.
- Any other duties related to this role.

**Basic requirements**:

- Deep knowledge in cashflow management and financing arrangements.
- Deep knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/SFRS), consolidated financial statements and management accounting.
- Verbal and written communication skills both in English and Japanese in order to communicate with group companies and Tokyo HQ.
- Possess a minimum JPLT2 cert in Japanese language proficiency and be bilingual in both English and Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking customers and associates.
- Able to travel worldwide where necessary.
- Attentive to details.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude and ability to work under stress.
- A team player with transparent working manner and willing to take ownership of an opportunity and hands on every aspect of the job.
- Adaptable to culture differences working in an MNC.
- Punctuality and good attendance is a MUST.
