Roles & Responsibilities

The Manager reports to the Vice Principal(Administration) and is a key member of the School Administration Team. He/She manages a team of Executives and assists the School Leaders in the areas of Finance, Procurement and Company Secretarial function.

  • Establish and review Procurement policies and procedures
  • Advise user departments on Procurement Procedures
  • Manage Accounts Receivables and Payables
  • Ensure proper accounting of Fixed Assets and depreciation
  • Conduct and consolidate annual budget and forecast for approval
  • Manage book-keeping and reporting, including statutory reports/returns
  • Ensure the financial records are available for audit check by external auditors
  • Coordinate all matters relating to Board of Directors and Company Secretarial Matters
  • Handle all administrative matters relating to IPC/Charity
  • Manage cash flow for operational needs and maximise return on excess fund
  • Manage and process payroll and related statutory contributions

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered
  • 8 years of experience in Financial Accounting, with at least 2 year in a supervisory role
  • Experience in organisational procurement processes and the use of GeBiz will be an added advantage
  • Proficient in Financial Reporting Standards
  • Meticulous and attentive to details
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
