Outokumpu in Singapore is looking for a Field Sales colleague who will be working under the direction of the General Manager. The position is based in Singapore and combines office and remote work possibility.
The purpose of this role is to be the first point of contact for customers, translate their wishes into sales orders, identify and exploit commercial opportunities at existing customers and in the market.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all sales and marketing activities in assigned country in the region including market development and project business.
- Responsible for all Outokumpu products and mills.
- Responsible for technical tasks include projects, seminars, conduct training, conference & exhibition.
- To implement action according to approved plan.
- To acquire a detailed knowledge market trend.
- To acquire a detailed knowledge on customer needs and requirements.
- To acquire a detailed product knowledge in order to discuss technical issues with customers and BA personnel.
- To provide superior customer service by responding efficiently and accurately.
- To process all commercial administration associated with sales completion.
- To process order entry, LC payment, claims and sales reporting/ sales data analysis.
- To make routine written and verbal quotations.
- To liaise with BA's to ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.
- To investigate and resolve customer complaints, be their commercial, quality or service related, in a prompt and professional manner.
- To act according to Company values, policy and code of conduct

**About you**

And you will be even more successful in this role if cooperating with others is something that you enjoy as much as working independently.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor degree in material, mechanical engineering with 3 years working experience or
- Diploma in material, mechanical engineering with 5 years experience in metal industry.
- Good numeracy as well as excellent verbal, written and telephone skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Proven ability to work as part of a team with all levels of personnel
- Strong social skills, with high levels of energy, self-motivation
- Ability to work independently with initiative
- Proactive attitude
- Well organized, with ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
- Be energetic and enthusiastic with a flexible approach
- Ability to learn and understand industrial based products
- Knowledge on selling process
