We have an exciting opening for Human Resource role. This is a senior position that will lead and direct the human resource team to deliver the full spectrum HR Management support to the Group in ensuring that the Company and business key objectives are met.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Responsible and manages the core HR functions/processes such as recruitment and selection, induction, training and development, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations and grievance management, manpower planning and exit management.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective HR operations and service delivery to the Group of companies operating in SE Asia including Singapore and Brunei.
- Set up and implements appropriate HR policies, procedures and systems for the Group and ensure that they are in accordance with legal regulations & obligations.
- Oversee and ensures that the Company Work pass process is well administered and performed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure compliance and governance is achieved without any compromise.
- As the HR business partner to Management in providing sound HR advice and strategies to support the growth of the business and Organization goals.
- Oversee and review the payroll (including all mandatory government contributions, tax declarations, etc.) for the Group and ensures timeliness in submission and accuracy.
- Manage the performance management processes including salary reviews, bonus administration, etc. for the Group.
- Manage the administration, declaration, claims and renewals of all employees related insurance matters (WICA, Group Inpatient, Group Personal Accident, Corporate Travel, Divers’ insurance, Outpatient Medical, etc.) for the Group and ensure timeliness in reporting and submission.
- Lead, coach and develop the HR team in ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations and service delivery for the Group.
- Coach and support line managers as required; handle employee queries and grievances including managing absence, disciplinary, grievances and sickness, etc. as they arise.
- Manages and monitors the end-to-end Training & Development function including the administration of the training activities.
- Prepare and manages the annual HR Budget.
- Prepare and provide HR reporting to the Management on a monthly basis and any other adhoc HR related reports to Finance. Monitors cost and actual HR expenditure on a monthly basis.
- Manages the annual audits and ensure all audit queries are clarified and answered for the Group.
- To commit resources and expenditures within the approval limits set by the Delegation of Authority approved by the board.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business or relevant discipline
- Diploma in Human Resources
- Certified HR practitioner (good to have)
- Min 10 years of relevant working experience in general HR Management with at least 3-5 years experience in managing a team and in a managerial position.
