As the Senior Administrator of the School, the Deputy Director of Administration leads in the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies, standards, structures, systems and practices to achieve the overall goals of the School. In overseeing business operations, processes, initiatives and resources, the Deputy Director provides integrated efficient and effective administrative services within the school, which is aligned with the School’s strategic goals and objectives and the University’s policies and processes. The Deputy Director provides foremost support to the School Management on strategizing and setting up of new initiatives, such as Capital Campaigns, Continuing Education, Community Engagement and External Relations.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and guidance to 13 direct and indirect reports (Admin, IT and Facilities)- Full management responsibilities (i.e. staff recruitment, performance and career development decisions) for professional services staff or manage through subordinate manager or supervisor.- Oversee budget planning and monitor utilization of School budget.- Oversee the various Endowments and the usage.- Oversee the internship placements.- Manage planning and execution of external engagements.- Direct organization of joint faculty symposium with School’s external partners; School’s management retreat Management Committee meeting; dialogue sessions.

**Requirements**:
- Degree from a recognized university- At least 15 years of working experience- At least 8 years of experience in a senior managerial role or in operations management and a proven record of excellent performance- Prior administrative experience in an institute of higher learning will be an added advantage- Strong in strategic thinking and has an analytical mind- Strong operational experience and proven managerial experience in strategic planning and financial budgeting planning- Confident and proactive with demonstrated dynamism and resourcefulness in problem solving- Highly adaptable and self-motivated with lots of initiative to take on new challenges- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work with and lead people of various levels and cultures- Good knowledge and experience in organization development, personnel and operations management
