
Regional Manager, Talent Management

**About the Role**:
A newly created opportunity has arisen for a full-time **Regional **Manager, Talent Management APAC** to join our APAC HR team.
Reporting to the Head of HR - APAC, you will be responsible for the overall Talent Management Strategy and providing effective initiatives and stable end-to-end processes in APAC region
This role will enable you to leverage your advanced knowledge of the full talent management life cycle while utilising your collaboration and strategic skills, project delivery experience and commercial acumen to deliver impactful initiatives that support Olympus’ ongoing growth.
The key success factor of this role is to respect country-specific legal requirements and cultural differences as well as to incorporate sufficient consensus building with key stakeholders by showing To-Be-State model. Implementing IT systems and contemporary apps, business understanding and collaboration with Global HR are also critical for this role.
Furthermore, you will have the following roles and responsibilities:
- Establish APAC **Talent Management**:
- Roll out New Modules of **SAP SuccessFactors** in collaboration with the Global project team, country HR managers/SMEs and the workstream lead
- Design an implementation strategy to introduce **Global Leadership Competency** in the APAC region aligning with Global HR.
- Manage overall **Learning and Development** strategy and operation
- Manage overall **Employee Engagement strategy**, Health/Wellbeing and its budget with dedicated subordinate and local SMEs
- Create a** Career progression plan for APAC HR**

**What we are looking for**:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a proactive, achievement-orientated and determined individual with:
- An advanced knowledge of full life cycle talent management including learning and development, career development, leadership training, succession planning, performance management employee engagement and due diligence.
- Highly developed interpersonal & communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop effective and professional relationships with people across multiple legal entities in APAC.
- Not only to be a strategic thinker with the end goal in mind but also not to underestimate the detail of processes design.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Mature, constructive but decisive in approach. Proactive and outcome oriented.
- Model leadership behaviours in conjunction with Olympus Core Values (Integrity, Empathy, Long-term View, Agility and Unity).
Ideally, you will have
- Experience as an HR Manager where you have excelled at delivering projects.
- Formal qualifications in either Business (particularly HR), Business Administration, or Management.
- Formal project/change management qualifications are highly desirable.
