We are looking for a Total Rewards Consultant/Senior Total Rewards Consultant to join our Global Total Rewards (GTR) Consulting team to be based in Singapore. The GTR Consulting team designs and provides stewardship of compensation policies and programs globally. The GTR Consulting team actively consults with partners in HR and business, balancing global and local perspectives to advise and deliver competitive and cost-effective compensation solutions that are relevant to the changing organizational landscape.

As a Total Rewards Consultant/Senior Total Rewards Consultant, you will proactively support the design and delivery of competitive Compensation and Benefit programs for assigned business units and region/s in the Company.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?

Consulting
- Provides proactive consultation, analysis and recommendations on compensation and benefit-related matters for Asia Pacific and or assigned business units. This includes job evaluation, benchmarking, pay adjustments, bonus reviews and allocation, etc.
- Proposes solutions to ensure compensation and benefit practices are competitive, up to date, and compliant with legislation

Projects
- Leads or play a key role in GTR consulting group’s or business unit’s projects and initiatives. Projects will require research and analytical skills. Activities will include project scoping, building tools and stakeholder management. This also include advising on monetary/financial impact of different options.

Pay Decisions
- Partners with HR counterparts and clients to review competitive positioning of rewards, looking at both external and internal equity
- Actively involved in year-end planning and drafting strategies for assigned business units or region/s for effective allocation of awards

Annual Market Analysis and Survey Matching
- Ensures jobs are appropriately benchmarked to surveys
- Reviews the Company’s internal salary structures annually through analysis of market data and trends, and revamp or recommend changes to these structures where appropriate

Survey Participation
- Reviews and validates data for the annual submission of data for regular and ad hoc compensation and benefits surveys

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- Degree in relevant field or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of proven compensation experience, preferably in a regional/global role
- With consulting experience and/or financial services will be a plus
- Strong stakeholder management and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Highly detail driven with emphasis on confidentiality, time sensitivity and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Project Management expertise
- Ability to work independently
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Reward software tools, Workday and/or other HR Information Systems would be an advantage#LI-APAC
