The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) marketing team is looking for a Principal Marketing Manager for Digital Transformation and Enterprise Programs to join the APAC Regional Enterprise and Vertical Marketing team in Singapore. In this role, you will manage how Red Hat positions itself and creates demand within the enterprise segment across APAC. This includes creation of marketing programmes within the digital transformation sales conversation framework, which relates to the integration of digital technology, and its associated cultural change, into global businesses.

As a Principal Marketing Manager, your primary focus will be to design and carry out marketing programs which have a significant, visible impact on pipeline growth across the APAC region, ensuring that marketing objectives are tightly aligned to business strategy. You will partner closely with account teams to understand the customer and industry landscape and with the marketing teams at the country and global level to ensure smooth, impactful delivery. We are a fast-paced team and we pride ourselves on designing and delivering world-class marketing programs for our target audiences across the region.

What you will do:

- Define the marketing strategy for Red Hat’s approach to targeting C-level and senior executives in IT and lines of business (LOB) within the enterprise vertical, including the creation of the marketing strategy and delivery of campaigns targeting high-value and high-potential customers across the region
- Develop campaigns including content, digital marketing, outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, nurture, in-person and virtual events, and executive engagements with the goal of building and accelerating pipeline
- Ensure that a clear and logical linkage is maintained between digital transformation-related themes at the highest level and Red Hat’s product portfolio and services, consulting and learning
- Work closely with industry vertical marketing managers and the Account Based Marketing (ABM) team, partnering together to deliver impactful marketing activities
- Develop and maintain a view of segmentation, targeting and positioning across accounts and target personas within the Enterprise segment - and align our go-to-market by bringing together their needs with Red Hat’s solutions
- Work closely with the global marketing team to inspire planning for the content inventory, editorial calendar, and go-to-market plan, supplementing this with localized context for the APAC region
- Liaise with industry analysts to develop thought leadership in relation to relevant digital transformation topics
- Develop a data and insight strategy that helps to identify gaps in contact and account intelligence
- Lead programs aimed at C-level engagement including management of engagements via Red Hat’s Executive Briefing Center
- Create a framework that demonstrates the impact that our marketing activities are having across the vertical including account pipeline and bookings, database growth, and account and in-person engagement

What you will bring:

- 10+ years of marketing programs and campaigns experience within a business-to-business (B2B) technology company
- Solid understanding of key market trends with the ability to talk eloquently on what digital transformation means for enterprises in the APAC region
- Passion for B2B marketing and clear examples of where you have designed and managed marketing programs that have led to impactful results
- Ability to work effectively across a multi-faceted matrix organization to inspire and orchestrate planning, contribute innovative ideas, and demonstrate tangible results that are aligned with business objectives
- Understanding of enterprise software, cloud, and emerging technologies with the ability to integrate with programs that deliver on sales and product objectives
- Experience building and delivering integrated marketing campaigns, events, executive and key account programs, and social media planning and implementation
- Ability to work as part of a team and solid interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship building skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales professionals, and product teams and maintain focus on customers
- Solid writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of pipeline management and metrics, digital marketing metrics and working with paid media
- Manage budgets creatively and optimally to maximize impact and return on investment (ROI)
- Ability to effectively navigate a high growth potential sector and a passion for building a grounds up strategy and solid delivery
- Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is a plus
