**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The principal is responsible to the Board for the effective implementation of the school Brand’s Mission, Vision, Goals and Belief Statements, as well as the efficient day to day educational operation of the Organisation’s Collective Brand (i.e., MIS and The Guild). The principal is the leader of the School Leadership Team and has delegated responsibility for providing Cultural Leadership, Educational Leadership, Pastoral Leadership, Community Leadership and Organisational Leadership across all sections of the schools.

**ROLE RESPONSBILITY**:
The principal works in partnership with

1. The Board of Directors

2. The Assistant Principal

3. The Head of Finance and Human Resource

**KEY RESPONSBILITIES**
- The principal is responsible for the exercise of effective team leadership to develop and support effective Schools teams in line with the concept of delegated leadership that underpins the organisational structure of the College.
- The principal must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Mission, Vision, Belief Statements and Goals of the organisation
- The principal must assist the Leadership Team to lead the College community towards the achievement of the Vision and Goals of the organisation
- As the delegated Cultural Leader, the Principal will assist in the development of the College as an integrated, inclusive, and welcoming community. Further to this, the Principal will assist in the nurturing of positive human relations in the college’s community.
- As the delegated Educational Leader, the Principal will lead the development and promotion of the College as a centre of quality teaching and learning.
- As the delegated Organisation leader, the Principal will work in a co-operative partnership with Head of Finance and Human Resource to ensure the effective administration of the schools

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- A Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Education.
- At least 15 years’ experience working in an international school environment or educational institutions with a minimum of 5 years in Senior management role or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of classroom teaching experience and understanding the different teaching approaches in education.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
