**Merchandising Manager, South Asia & Pacific**

As the Merchandising Manager for South Asia & Pacific region, specializing in all categories, you will be responsible for driving the successful merchandising and product assortment strategies for the luxury fashion brand. Leveraging your deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and brand positioning, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and captivating product offering that aligns with the brand's image and business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Merchandising Strategy**: Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies for the Ready-to-Wear and Shoes categories in the South Asia & Pacific region, considering market trends and customer demands.

**Assortment Planning**: Oversee the product assortment planning process, curating a compelling and balanced range of products that align with the brand's aesthetics and target market.

**Product Development**: Collaborate with design and product development teams to conceptualize and develop new collections that meet regional market requirements while maintaining global brand consistency.

**Market Analysis**: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities in the luxury fashion industry.

**Sales Performance**: Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify high-performing products and categories, adjusting the assortment and strategies accordingly.

**Pricing Strategy**: Work closely with the pricing team to determine optimal pricing strategies, taking into account regional market dynamics and competitor pricing.

**Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the supply chain and retail teams to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize excess inventory.

**Regional Collaboration**: Foster strong relationships with regional counterparts, including buyers, retail managers, and marketing teams, to align on merchandising strategies and promotional activities.

**Seasonal Buying**: Coordinate seasonal buying sessions, providing guidance on product selection, quantities, and pricing.

**Brand Cohesion**: Ensure a cohesive brand image and identity across the product assortment, adhering to the brand's aesthetic, quality, and craftsmanship standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Degree / Diploma in Fashion Design, Merchandising or Business
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fashion merchandising with international fashion / luxury brand
- Exceptional fashion and market sense with solid experience with Asian markets
- Budding people enabler, passionate about peer-coaching and developing a small team
- Impactful communicator / influencer
- Excellent presentation and analytical skills
- Team player and energised by cross-functional team work
- Able to be agile, fast and work under high pressure
- Overseas travel is necessary, as required
