The Merchandise Manager is the person who makes our world tangible. From curating drop-worthy products to shaping the stories that bring them to life, this role connects our brand to our audience both online and in real life. Part strategist, part tastemaker, part chaos-wrangler, you'll sit at the intersection of culture, commerce, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end development of IMBA-branded merchandise, from concept to production and distribution

Curate merchandise ranges that align with brand identity, audience insights, and cultural trends

Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and production vendors to manage timelines, quality, and cost control

Develop merch-led content strategies that support campaigns, events, launches, and brand partnerships

Produce and manage a campaign/content calendar (in partnership with the marketing team)

Brief and oversee creative teams on campaign narratives — ensuring tone, story, and product integration are on-brand

Liaise with internal departments (e.g. marketing, partnerships, operations) to ensure cross-functional alignment

Track merchandise performance metrics, campaign results, and generate post-mortem reports

Manage inventory planning and e-commerce integration (if applicable)

Ensure consistency of brand tone and storytelling across all merchandise and related content

Preferred Attributes:

  • 3–5 years of experience in merchandising, brand management, or content marketing
  • Strong product and campaign development skills
  • Commercial acumen in sourcing, costing, and managing supplier relationships
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-team collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with production processes, merchandising cycles, and retail/e-commerce platforms
  • Passion for culture, design, and creating tangible brand experiences
