**Key responsibilities**:
- Provides timely forecasts and delivers on quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Manages the sales funnel from new opportunity generation through closing.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding and appropriately communicates the Bioscience portfolio and Lonza’s value proposition to customers to consistently drive sales.
- Continuously improves on knowledge of assigned accounts including site locations, departments, and key contacts, including a solid understanding of market knowledge.
- Organizes, plans, and schedules time to provide optimum and effective account and territory coverage.
- Record activities and client information in the CRM database on a daily and timely basis.
- Travels up to 60% to support the above mentioned activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Key requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree Life Science, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry with significant years of direct sales experience.
- Significant sales experience Bioscience industry / sales experience.
- Knowledge and experience in cell culture, microbiology and molecular biology or biotech/biopharm laboratory and/or manufacturing, preferred.
- Core selling skills, including creating customer value, negotiation and closing, consultative selling, and effective sales presentation.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) with ability to articulate key technical concepts, as well as active listening skills.
- Proficiency in English / Korean language, due to the need to support Channel distributors in South Korea.
- Customer focused, Results driven, Business acumen.
- Independent, Self-motivated, Reliable.
