**About the Department**:
The **Compliance** function is a strategic partner and a trusted business enabler to the Board and senior management. It is our responsibility to ensure that the Group continuously fulfils its regulatory obligations in today’s tight and dynamic regulatory landscape. To do that, we work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and to assess regulatory risks. This collaboration also includes developing practical solutions that integrate regulations into operational requirements as well as actively shaping and promoting stronger compliance culture and literacy in the Bank.

**Responsibilities**:
**Senior Management Engagement**
- Assists Head of Quality Control to prepares and distribute reports on key details of the quality control programme to GC Senior Management, synthesizing key findings and recommendations. Reporting to include progress on remediation efforts related to previous findings
- Assists Head of Quality Control in identifying priority review areas based on known issues or regulatory scrutiny and conducting quality control reviews accordingly

**Quality control**
- Contributes to the development of a comprehensive testing plan for Line 2 Compliance controls and activities, ensuring the plan incorporates both periodic and thematic reviews and is adapted dynamically based to emerging issues and key priorities
- Executes specific quality control reviews including review planning, finding interpretation and follow up actions
- Monitors GC adherence to relevant SLA requirements and works with key stakeholders to address causes of failures in GC’s adherence to these requirements
- Drafts remediation plans alongside the Head of Quality Control where necessary and ensures actions are tracked and reviewed in subsequent testing
- Researches new tools, methodologies and standards to enhance the quality control programme effectiveness and ensure practices remain in line with best practice
- Works with Head of Quality Control to identify areas of improvement within the compliance organisation and works with GC teams to adapt processes
- Works with Head of Quality Control to ensure fullness and accuracy of performance and capacity data from individual GC teams

**Team organization**
- Maintains team documentation, including policies, procedures and trackers
- Assists the Head of Quality Control with operational MI generation, including programme progress, key findings and capacity planning

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree holder (with major in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Law, or equivalent qualification preferred)
- 7-10 years of experience in financial services assurance or compliance testing. Knowledge of anti-financial crime compliance valued.
- Strong knowledge of compliance organizational drivers and activities
- Knowledge of control framework and policy design and implementation
- Team and stakeholder management experience
- Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools
- Understanding of relevant financial crime and broader financial services regulatory landscape
