**About the Department**:
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversight of risk and controls for Head of Group Wholesale and Global Markets T&O
- Set up and implement controls to strengthen risk governance across Operations Centres group-wide
- Perform targeted reviews of processes or operations centres
- Ensure standardization of processes and controls across GWGMO
- Improve risk awareness and risk culture across GWGMO
- Manage monthly UOBS and Group Risk and Controls Forum
- Manage a cross-country virtual automation team for analysis and creation of automated controls using data analytics tools
- Managing strategic or risk related projects on behalf of the Function, as required

**Job Requirements**:

- 10-15 years of experience in banking, preferably with operations or risk experience
- Experience in preparing management decks
- Proficient in excel and powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written) to deliver insights to senior management and stakeholders
- Passion to improve risk environment and automation of manual processes and controls
- Motivated and driven, able to work independently and a good team player as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Able to manage staff on a functional reporting level
