**About the Role**

Would you like to take on an exciting opportunity leading the management oversight responsibility of the branch operating platform across various aspects of the reinsurance business in Singapore (SRAL).

This position will require experienced leadership to coach and steer a team, balancing the required skill sets to deliver as Business Partner for the Singapore Location Head on legal entity management and operational excellence.

As a key contributor you will be required to oversee the big picture and at the same time rolling up your sleeves to work with the team.

This position takes the Lead on Business Contingency risks across the location including Business Continuity Management, Cyber Security and Operational IT Governance matters.

This opportunity will require you to closely collaborate across various seniority levels with numerous business teams, at a local level as well as regional level.

You will have a great can-do attitude and become a trusted partner on strategy, branch operations and governance related matters.

As part of the Strategy & Operations team, you will be involved in the strategy implementation and preparation work, supporting the local client market team and the Head of Regional

Branch Operations.

**The key accountabilities are**:

- As a line manager, coach/mentor you will lead and develop the Singapore Branch Operations Team
- Own and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business including support functions
- Active member of SRAL Branch Management Committee (SGWG), in line with Asia Branch Governance Framework
- Drive best practice, challenge the status quo, leading any agreed transformation collaborating with Business SME on selected business and operational

- Managing / influencing partners: Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across functions/seniority;
- Strategic and Analytics Mastermind: Big picture, structured and analytical mind as well as an exceptional problem solver;
- Delivery Champ: Substantial work experience in operations or transformation execution, e.g. project and organisational change experience is a plus;
