Branch Manager

1. Responsible for all the aspects of branch's activities and operations. Oversee all the ongoing projects and operational infrastructure (including accounting, financing, legal, client management) in close liaison with the Japan HQ.
2. Work closely and build relationships with shipping companies (both Japanese and global), in order to further promote the business opportunities of ship finance, one of the major domain of business of the branch, and achieve the company's goal. This position is expected to closely communicate with critical stakeholders such as ship brokers and Japanese trading companies.
3. Build close relationships with existing customers (mainly Ahime and Setouchi Area in Japan) and develop new strategic business opportunities with prospects and new customers
4. Ensure that up-to-date knowledge of the finance industry over ASEAN region is well maintained in the branch and make effective feedbacks to the management of HQ, including the performance of the branch.
5. Be accountable to shareholders as well as to internal and external stakeholders of Japan HQ for the branch's performance and business opportunities.
6. Formulate business plans, annual budgets and strategies (short and long term) based on group policies, and drive its executions for sales growth while ensuring profitability throughout the organization.
1. Bachelor's degree.
2. More than 15 years of working experience in Banking Industry, dealing with corporate customers.
5. Japanese language skill at a business level (JLPT N1 or equivalent)or above to ensure timely and accurate reporting on HQ, operating under the strict restrictions of Japanese financial laws, as well as its internal and external stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical skills in financial statements.
