Summary
The role of Specialist, Fare Distribution Management, is responsible for helping the business maintain competitive posture as it pertains to Scoots's fares rules, pricing policies, procedures, and programs. He/she will be involved in the development and implementation of fare distribution strategies and tactics for Scoot.
**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for defining the fare distribution strategy with a view to integrating concepts across B2B/B2C distribution channels, while ensuring business requirements align with longer term sales & distribution strategy.- Custodian of the fare configurations for internal and external consumption- Influence business & operational units through presentation of recommendations, communicating state of capabilities, operational feedback. Spreading best practices to business units.- Manage hours incurred during projects or incident resolution, ensuring work rendered by vendor is within specifications and delivering good value.
Job Requirements:
- Degree, preferably from a numerical discipline- Energy and enthusiasm, with demonstrable can-do attitude.- Self-starter- 1-2 year of experience in a similar role would be an advantage.- Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial acumen- High level of accuracy and detail- Excellent communication skills and experience in working with people at all levels.- Able to create and maintain strong internal and external networks.- Able to handle simultaneous projects and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
