Human resources 40%

The HR Manager will liaise with the Teaching/instructor team and the Front of House team to administer their day-to-day HR needs. This includes:

- Handle the full spectrum of recruitment activities from preparation of ads, sourcing, screening, and initial short listing.
- Effectively track employee status, maintain all records of staff reviews and monitor hiring/leaver metrics.
- Conduct and improve onboarding experience, as well as exit interviews
- Setting up new hires on both our customer management software and human resource systems, ensuring all documents are verified, up-to-date and uploaded on the system.
- Issuing letter of appointments, confirmation, termination, warnings etc.
- All Ministry of Manpower related queries
- Oversee and manage performance appraisal system including documentation and follow up.
- Oversee company manpower planning with optimised headcount for required availabilities, and early identification of manpower needs based on recruitment and termination activities, projected studio openings and closures, and class scheduling counts.
- Build, interpret, communicate, and most importantly challenge the organizational structure as the brands grow.

Quality Assurance 30%

The HR Manager will work closely with the Training Manager, Master Trainer and Business Operations Managers to identify, manage and track training needs and development plans for teams and individuals. This includes:

- Identifying, accessing and determining training needs.
- Performance and feedback monitoring - flagging good feedback and reporting on consistent feedback or areas for growth to Academy & Training and the Master Trainer
- Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, processes and standards.
- Milestone reporting around hiring progress and exit interviews
- Ensure payroll changes and updates are monitored and submitted to finance for processing.
- Ensuring adequate staff leave and termination management
- Completion of all necessary surveys and preparation of monthly reporting

Culture 30%

Culture management takes collaboration, communication and support across people and teams to plan and implement a high performing work environment. The HR Manager will be responsible to:

- Maintain an effective, productive, and positive work environment by promoting efficient communication company wide.
- Advise and support management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of all employees.
- Good feels: team recognition, positive energy and pre-emptive conversations with team.
